Back to Your Roots:
A Seasonal Journey with the Plants
This is a monthly gathering held right in my home garden in N. Longmont, CO. We’ll meet once a month, April-November, following the natural rhythm of what’s blooming, ripening, ready, or resting. Each session will be shaped by whatever the plants are offering that day—no fixed curriculum, just deep listening and co-creation with the living world around us.
Together we will:
Make herbal medicines (tinctures, salves, teas, oils, and more) from what’s present
Explore wild plants and wild foods—identifying, harvesting, and preparing them with care
Work with medicinal and culinary herbs in practical, accessible ways
Learn how to open our senses and hearts to receive wisdom directly from the plants
Engage in ancient spiritual earth-based healing
Practice plant spirit meditations and shamanistic connection techniques
Create simple, meaningful crafts and offerings with natural materials around you
This isn’t about me teaching at you—it’s about us showing up together, tuning in, and letting the plants guide the way. We’ll slow down, open our senses, and remember how to be in reciprocal relationship with the green world, our plant elders and kin. Expect a blend of hands-on medicine-making, foraging, quiet meditation, ritual, and creative play—all rooted in reverence, curiosity, and gratitude.
