Earth-Centered Living with Ann Drucker, Robin Blankenship, Mike Foltmer, Julia Lyons & Julia Corlett

We invite you to join us for an inspiring, nourishing, and rejuvenating weekend. Come immerse yourself in the beauty of nature in Crestone CO.  Delight in eating wild foods, make hands-on herbal medicines, and learn to weave baskets with local pine needles.  Create your own personal deerskin pouch. Live in earth-centered community, off the grid, along the beautiful Cottonwood Creek.

Children welcome upon request—talk to Ann or Robin about it before you register. We welcome LGBTQ+ and BIPOC community!

Schedule

Please arrive Thursday between 1 - 3pm to settle in. Our weekend together begins at 5pm!

Cost

$255 includes camping and Thurs/Fri/Sat night dinners created by our amazing chef Julia Corlett; bring your own breakfast, lunch and snacks. Tie your cooler to a tree and the creek will keep your food cool and fresh! The covered Earth Knack kitchen has pots, pans and gas burners.

Want to stay an extra night?  $30 for Sunday dinner and camping.

More About the Instructors

Ann Drucker

Ann has practiced and taught shamanic and herbal healing traditions for over thirty years. She is well known for her joyful, dynamic, experiential teaching style. More about Ann here.

Robin Blankenship

Robin owns and operates Earth Knack and has been working in the outdoor field since 1978. She is the author and illustrator of How To Play In The Woods (2016) and co-author/illustrator of Earth Knack: Stone Age Skills for the 21st Century (1996). Mike Foltmer

Mike is a master craftsman working with buckskin, parfleche, traditional tanning, and rawhide, as well as canvas tent and awning. His humor and skill will give you the confidence to create a beautiful deerskin bag.

Julia Corlett

Julia’s dinners truly make our time at Earth Knack into a nourishing retreat. She started her cooking career at age 6, determined to make scrambled eggs as well as her dad. From a prep cook in LA to a personal chef in Crestone, Julia fuels us with her creative, delicious local and wild foods. You can taste the love and gratitude!

Julia Lyons

Julia Lyons is an earth-centered healer, gifted teacher, and folk herbalist. She'll guide you to make a variety of herbal medicines and prepare nourishing, delicious wild foods. Her love for plants shines through all of her work.
