Circle of the Rising Moon is a transformative weekend retreat designed for women seeking to reconnect with the divine feminine, deepen their bond with nature, and embark on a journey of self-healing. This immersive experience offers a sanctuary where participants can embrace their inner wisdom through guided meditations, creative projects, nature walks, and sacred rituals. Through communal support and spiritual practices, women are encouraged to explore their authentic selves, release past traumas, and rejuvenate their spirits. By fostering a harmonious relationship with the natural world and the divine feminine, "Circle of the Rising Moon" empowers women to heal and transform, emerging with renewed strength and clarity.

Activities Include:

  • Rituals and Ceremonies: Engage in empowering rituals under the luminous glow of the waxing full moon to release what no longer serves you and manifest your deepest desires.

  • Workshops and Discussions: The weekend includes workshops and discussions focusing on women's empowerment, holistic wellness, self-care practices, and personal growth.

  • Awakening the Spirit: Through guided meditations, yoga sessions, and nature walks, you will have the opportunity to deepen your connection with yourself, the earth, and the divine feminine.

  • Creative Expression: Tap into your creativity during our crafting sessions, where we will make ritual drums, personal magic wands, and traditional pine needle baskets.

  • Community Building and Connection: Build a sense of community and connection among your fellow participants.

  • Nourishing Food and Wellness: Fully catered meals will focus on nourishing, wholesome foods that support health and vitality. There will be discussions about nutrition, and opportunities to learn about herbal remedies and natural healing practices.

  • Rest and Relaxation: Recognizing the importance of rest and relaxation, the weekend incorporates periods of quiet reflection, meditation, and downtime for participants to recharge and rejuvenate.

Location:

Three Leaf Farm's serene surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for introspection, healing, and sisterhood. Our tranquil spaces and organic gardens will support you in immersing yourself fully in this transformative experience. The farm is located in Lafayette, Colorado.

Lodging:

Participants have three options when planning their stay at Three Leaf Farm. There are no differences in price or discounts for not staying on site.

  1. Stay in your own tent on the Three Leaf Farm property. Small tents will be allowed on the property with advance notice. All private tents must be completely set up by 4 p.m. on Friday afternoon and completely removed by 1 p.m. Sunday morning. You will be fully responsible for both the set-up and take-down of your tent.

  2. Stay at your home. If you leave close by and would prefer to go home for the evenings, you’ll be able to leave by 10 pm and return by 7 am the next morning.

  3. Stay at a local hotel at your own expense. If you need suggestions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Food & Meals

During the weekend, the meals are a celebration of delicious vegetarian cuisine, thoughtfully crafted to nourish both body and soul. With an abundance of vegan and gluten-free options available, every woman can indulge in a culinary journey that caters to her dietary preferences. From vibrant salads bursting with farm-fresh produce to hearty grain bowls and flavorful vegetable stir-fries, each dish is a testament to the creativity and care of the retreat's culinary team. However, due to the complexity of individual food allergies, other dietary restrictions cannot be accommodated, and participants are kindly asked to bring any additional items they may need to support their unique nutritional needs.

Meals include Friday evening dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and Sunday breakfast. Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided throughout the weekend.

Jessica Flowers: Jessica Flowers is a mother, an earth tender, a certified clinical herbalist, and a medicine maker with over 20 years of experience working with medicinal herbs. She has dedicated her practice to the health of women and new families through traditional postpartum care and womb wisdom. She is the Cosmic Creatress for the organic seed-to-sale CBD wellness brand Moon Mother Hemp Company. Her special interest in women’s wellness and years of hands-on experience inform her formulation process in creating some of the most effective CBD products on the market. As a mother of two young daughters, Jessica is motivated to ensure that Moon Mother Hemp Company provides not only the cleanest possible supplements but does so in a way that helps preserve the environment for generations to come. Jessica’s life and practice are rooted in the rhythms of nature, and she is committed to restoring the connection between women and the land and their innate wisdom. She has been bringing education and ceremony to festivals, women’s gatherings, and circles through the Womb Wisdom series and through the Yoni steam ceremony.

Brigitte Mars: Brigitte Mars is a respected herbalist, author, and natural health expert known for her deep-rooted passion for herbalism and holistic wellness. With over four decades of experience, Brigitte has dedicated her life to sharing the wisdom of plant medicine through teachings, writings, and workshops. Her expertise spans a wide range of topics, including herbal medicine, nutrition, foraging, and sustainable living. Brigitte is the author of numerous acclaimed books, including "The Desktop Guide to Herbal Medicine," "The Country Almanac of Home Remedies," and "The Home Reference to Holistic Health and Healing." She is also a sought-after speaker, appearing at conferences, universities, and wellness events worldwide. Through her work, Brigitte continues to inspire and empower individuals to cultivate vibrant health and harmony with nature.

Sara Stewart Martinelli: Sara Stewart Martinelli is a renowned certified herbalist, ethnobotanist, and lifelong practitioner of traditional witchcraft. Alongside her husband, she has stewarded Three Leaf Farm since 2010, cultivating organic produce and medicinal herbs for their five local restaurants and tea company. With a degree in Anthropology from the University of Colorado, Sara's academic focus on food, plants, and culture laid the foundation for her deep understanding of herbalism. Following her university studies, she honed her craft at the Rocky Mountain Center for Botanical Studies (now the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism), launching her professional journey as an herbalist and tea blender for her acclaimed establishment, The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse. With over 25 years of experience, Sara is a revered educator, sharing her wealth of knowledge on herbs, ethnobotany, magic, and tea through engaging workshops and writings featured in both local and national publications.

Julia Lyons: Julia Lyons: As an Earth-Centered Healer, Ceremonialist, and Folk Herbalist, Julia Lyons weaves a deep connection to Earth and Spirit into all aspects of her work. For nearly a decade, she has facilitated transformative healing sessions, ceremonial gatherings, classes, trainings, and mentorship programs, both in person and remotely. Julia creates potent, nurturing spaces for individuals to heal, grow, and deepen their connections to both the seen and unseen realms. Her dedication to her craft is enriched by her studies and she has been welcome to work in the Yucatec Maya healing tradition of Miss Beatrice Torres Waight of Santa Familia, Belize. Honored to work closely with Miss Beatrice’s living family, Julia is committed to preserving and strengthening these sacred traditions.

Tori Rerick, PharmD, dispenses mindfulness, encourages self-care for self-healing, and advocates for cannabis as medicine. Her career in health and wellness spans geriatric care, clinical community pharmacy, CBD press relations, and spiritual guidance. She’s the founder of the magical, self-healing platform Heart Connected Healing and creator of the highly inspired + 420-friendly deck, Follow Your Heart Oracle. Tori believes that developing intimate well-being practices on the individual level is essential for the union of the collective. Her products and services are designed to guide growth-oriented beings toward routine rituals for deeper self-connection.

Friday

3:00 pm – Arrival and Camp Set-Up
Upon arrival, participants are warmly welcomed and guided through the process of setting up their tents before receiving their personalized event schedules.

4:30 pm – Welcome Circle and Gateway
The ceremonial gateway to our weekend retreat invites women to shed the burdens of the everyday world and step into a sacred realm where they are embraced by the nurturing energy of the goddess and the soothing whispers of nature. Through rituals of grounding and intention-setting, participants are encouraged to cultivate a profound connection with the divine feminine and the natural world around them, embarking on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment.

5:00-6:00 pm - Sacred Connection Hour
This hour allows participants to connect with each other and the sacred land, exploring our unique Soul Sanctuaries, working on the Mandala Altar, sharing stories, and deepening their bond with nature and the community.

6 pm - Dinner
Arugula Salad, Herb Foccacia, Baked Polenta with Feta Fondue, Vegan Stuffed Eggplant, Roasted Chili Broccolini, Rosemary Roasted New Potatoes, Chocolate Coconut Cookies

7 pm – Manifestation Ceremony – Candle Ceremony
Women gather for a candle-lit manifestation ritual, chanting affirmations and visualizing their dreams coming true, leaving with uplifted hearts, clear minds, and aligned spirits.

Saturday

8 am – Breakfast
Fresh Fruit Platter, Vegetarian Spanish Fritatta, Banana French Toast

9 am – Creative Activities - individual groups move through Creative Stations to make the following:
Ritual Hand Drum
Starting with raw materials, each woman has the opportunity to handcraft a personal ritual hand drum using wooden frames, goat hides, and rawhide twine. As they stretch and bind the hides, they infuse each drum with their intentions and energies, creating unique symbols and blessings with every touch. By the end, each woman holds a powerful, personalized drum, a sacred tool imbued with their spirit and ready to guide them in their spiritual practices and rituals.

Magic Wands
In this workshop, women craft their own magic wands from natural materials, each creation a testament to their unique energy and intention. Under the guidance of Sara, they select found sticks, each one calling to its future owner. With reverence, they adorn these sticks with leather wraps and carefully chosen crystal points, infusing them with personal symbols and blessings. By the end, each woman holds a powerful, personalized wand, a symbol of her inner magic and a tool for her spiritual journey.

Pine Needle Baskets
This workshop is dedicated to the ancient art of pine needle basket weaving. Surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature, Julia guides the group in the timeless techniques passed down through generations. Each participant uses fragrant pine needles and begins the meditative process of coiling and stitching, using raffia to bind the needles together. The repetitive, rhythmic motion of weaving brings a sense of peace and connection to the earth. By the end, each woman proudly holds a beautifully crafted pine needle basket, a tangible expression of creativity and a deepened bond with nature.

2:00 - 3:30 pm Sacred Self Care Workshop with Brigitte Mars
In this transformative workshop dedicated to teaching the art of sacred self-care, seasoned holistic healer and herbalist Brigitte Mars leads the group on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. The workshop emphasizes the importance of nurturing oneself through daily practices, such as mindful breathing, intentional movement, and nourishing nutrition. By the end of the workshop, each woman will leave with a renewed sense of inner peace, equipped with practical tools to honor and care for herself in profound, sacred ways.

4 pmHour of Peace
A peaceful hour is devoted entirely to personal freedom and self-care. Each woman is encouraged to embrace this time in any way that nourishes her spirit—be it a quiet walk through the forest, a reflective journaling session by the river, a rejuvenating nap in a cozy hammock, or simply savoring a cup of tea while gazing at the scenery. This precious hour is a sanctuary of choice and individuality, allowing each participant to reconnect with herself, unwind, and indulge in the simple joys that bring her peace and happiness.

5 pmMocktail Hour
Before the vegetarian dinner, guests are invited to a non-alcoholic cocktail hour for socializing, where they can enjoy refreshing, handcrafted mocktails amidst the tranquil beauty of the farm.

Women gather for a powerful ritual, casting their burdens into a bonfire and embracing the transformative energy of the full moon to gain intuition, wisdom, and spiritual clarity.

7:30 am – Awakening the Chakras with Brigitte and Bethy LoveLight
Brigitte guides the group through a transformative series of activities designed to awaken each chakra, employing a rich tapestry of sound, flavor, movement, color, and more.

9 am – Breakfast
Garden Egg Scramlette, Garden Tofu Scramlette, Fresh Fruit and Berry Salad, Homemade Granola and Yogurt

10 am – Closing Ceremony: Consecrating and Awakening the Drums
As the weekend ends, the group gathers in a circle to awaken their handmade ritual drums. Guided by Jessica, they connect with the earth and sky in a grounding meditation. Playing their drums together, they feel the beats resonate with the earth's rhythm. Sharing affirmations and intentions, they build energy until it fades away. They leave feeling connected and empowered, ready to take the spirit of the weekend and their drums into the world.
